Valeria Petrini was borned in S. Giovanni Rotondo in 1985, lived in Foggia until the age of nineteen years old. After the end of scientific school, she moved to Rome to attend the triennial university of Industrial Design where she obtained her degree in 2008. She went to Venice to attend the Visual and Multimedial Communication Design course at the IUAV University. Loving of travels, new experiences and confrontations, in 2009 she spent nine months in erasmus to the Fine Arts Academy of Nantes where she obtained her bachelor of second level in 2010.
In 2006 she gained a special mention in the international "Metro dopo Metro" competition for the design of a subway platform, in collaboration with Paola Schiattarella. In 2009 she realized, in collaboration with Andrea Mattiello, a video projection of graphic interpretation about the futurist tables at the entrance of the 53° Futurist exhibition at the Biennial Art exhibition in Venice. In the 2010 she created the new website of "Comité DES oeuvres sociales C.O.S." (Social Works Community) of Nantes.
Currently resident in Paris, she has main working interests such as: development of visual communication projects; making videos pertaining to the music and publicity field; the study of exhibition spaces, videos making and the impact on the public; and photography.
Her interests about the professional field are: participation to art, graphic, photography and interaction design exhibition; participation to experimental and electronic music, and experimental thearter events; the study of the psychological impact of the visual communication on the customer; photo reports and drawings.
